Signal material is ideal to place directly on storage tanks, processing tanks and vessels, feed hoppers, pipelines and other potentially hazardous equipment. Upper three corners of the signal rates health, fire and reactivity on a scale of 0 - 4 while lower corner gives specific hazard information. Signal meets National Fire Protection Association's Code No. 704M and Federal Standard 313.
