  • 3M™ DBI-SALA® SSB Climb Assist Counterweight features rugged and extremely lightweight galvanized construction that is compact and durable and corrosion resistance for added longevity. SSB climb assist and fall arrest block pulley assembly incorporates speed sensing brake for fall protection. Built-in runaway brake provides a back-up in case the counterweight control is lost. It has unlimited length of system and user installed system. Integral cable attachment strap with quick link provides an easy means to attach the counterweight to the lifeline assembly. System lets you configure anyway you want, specific to your worksite needs for added flexibility and ease of use. It has speed sensing brake feature which helps to stop falling climber.

  • Provides the lift or assistance to the climber during their ascent or descent for easier climbing
  • The user can add additional 6 lb. (2.7 kg), 7/8" (22.2 mm) dia. round steel bars 36" (91.4 cm) long for added climb assistance up to the maximum of 170 lbs. (77.1 kg)
  • Integral system provides a back-up in case the counterweight control is lost, the system brakes keeping the climber safe
  • Galvanized construction offers excellent durability and corrosion resistance for added longevity
