• Amerex® 10 Pound High Flow Multi-Purpose Regular Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher with wall mount bracket operates effectively at the temperature range of -65 to 120 deg F. Extinguisher featuring all metal valve construction offers twice the flow rate of standard models. Dependable drawn steel cylinder extinguisher measuring 20 1/2" X 8 3/4" X 5" has stored pressure design. Fire extinguisher with large loop stainless steel pull pin features long lasting high gloss polyester powder paint. It has a discharge range of 15 - 25' and discharge time of 10 sec. Portable fire extinguisher is ideal for applications where discharge rate more than 1 lb/sec is required as specified in NFPA 10. It contains a siliconized sodium bicarbonate based dry chemical with free flowing and non-caking additives. Extinguisher offers lower initial cost and recharging to provide economical class B/C protection. Chemical smothers in flammable liquids as well as pressurized gases and does not conduct electricity back to the operator. Extinguisher with bar coded and bi-lingual labels can be easily maintained as well as serviced in an economic way. It is UL listed and meets DOT requirements.
