The carbon fiber felt blanket is designed to be placed directly under a hot work operation or horizontal with severe to moderate exposures. In addition to excellent high heat resistance, carbon fiber felt is easy to cut and can be conformed to complex curves. .170" thick 16 oz. carbon fiber felt has a 1,800F melting temperature making it ideal for Heavy Duty applications: heavy sparks, spatter, and slag.
