Austenitic metal-cored wire of type EC309L / T 23 12 L is designed for welding dissimilar joints between corrosion resistant austenitic CrNi(Mo) steels and mild or low-alloyed steels. The excellent weldability and high deposition rates result in high productivity with excellent welding performance with very low spatter. This wire exhibits good wetting behavior which results in a smooth surface. The wide arc ensures even penetration in the root and side-wall to prevent lack of fusion. FOXcore 309L-MC is less sensitive to edge misalignment and variation in gap width as compared to solid wires. Suitable for service temperatures from -180F to 575F.Specifications
