Avesta 309LMo / P5 Stainless steel stick electrode measures 3/16" X 14" is designed for dissimilar welding between stainless and mild or low-alloy steels. It is also ideal for overlay welding providing an 18 Cr 8 Ni 2 Mo deposit from the very first layer. 11.90 lb is a highly alloyed low carbon electrode corresponding to AWS A5.4 E309MoL-17. Electrode features an extra thick coating rendering a high deposition rate with a metal recovery of about 150%. Welder-friendly electrode offers high productivity welding in both flat as well as horizontal positions. It can also be used for welding high strength steels such as Hardox® and Armox®.Specifications
