Item Details

WEARSHIELD® 44 stick electrode is ideal for hardfacing applications needing moderate hardness up to 600C (1100F). Can be used on carbon steels, low alloy steels, cast iron, austenitic manganese steels and austenitic stainless steels. Typical applications include buckets, chain links, pulleys, ingot tongs and rolling mill guides. It can be welded in flat and horizontal positions.
