Scotch® Vinyl Electrical Tape Super 88 is an 8.5 mil thick, premium grade, all weather tape that is designed to provide a protective jacket and primary electrical insulation for splices up to 600V. The flame retardant tape withstands a temperature range of 0 to 221 F ( 18 to 105 C).Features
- PRIMARY ELECTRICAL INSULATION: For all wire, cable splices and bus applications up to 600 volts
- COMMON APPLICATIONS: Used for protective jacketing on high voltage cable splices and repairs and to harness and bundle wires and cables
- COMPATIBILITY: Compatible with solid dielectric cable insulations, rubber and synthetic splicing compounds, epoxy and polyurethane resins
- FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR APPLICATIONS: Excellent resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalies, acids, corrosion and varying weather conditions (including UV exposure)
- OPERATING TEMPERATURE: Designed to perform continuously in ambient temperatures up to 221 F (105 C)
