Justrite Vertical Drum Vent made from brass offers automatic pressure relief and is ideal for petroleum-based applications. Vent with a 2" NPS/NPT releases the vacuum automatically and allows four or more gpm flow through a 3/4" faucet. The operating valve opens at 5 psig internal pressure under normal conditions.Features
- Safety drum vents provide automatic pressure relief for drums between 3psi (20kPa) but less than 8 psi (55kPa)
- Depending on the model, vacuum relief is either automatic (on horizontally installed vents) or manual (on vertically installed vents)
- They are tested to allow one liter (61 cubic inch) of water through a 3/8 inch (9.5mm) pipe nipple in less than 6 seconds
- While in the closed position, the vents prevent escape of flammable vapor
- All safety drum vents include a flame arrester for added safety
